Accounting experience
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
Intermediate MS Excel skills

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions
Prepare monthly and quarterly operational performance reports
Assist the Area Controller in ensuring proper internal controls are in place
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and Company policy
May assist the Area Controller in the management of accounting personnel
Support the Area Controller during the annual budget and interim forecasting process
Support the accounting aspects of capital expenditures, transfers, and retirements
Assist with periodic financial audits
Provide support and respond to information requests from various departments and management
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
