Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree. A minimum of five years of experience in dealership or automotive service operations is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office products. The role also necessitates an understanding of dealer compensation plans and the ability to meet Dealer Tire’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy.

Responsibilities

As a Fixed Operations Consultant, the primary responsibilities include collaborating with Account Management and other Operational roles to improve dealership performance through diagnosis, analysis, and action plans. This involves creating implementation plans, presenting findings, and working with dealership management to gain support and drive results. The role requires building relationships at all levels of the dealership, developing operational solutions, communicating analyses and strategic plans, and participating in regional meetings. Additionally, the consultant must complete service lane assessments, analyze dealership gaps, develop product screen recommendations, create customized coaching solutions, assess the competitive market, and perform the role of service advisor to increase service lane sales, while also managing activity tracking and submitting timely reports.
