Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechatronics, electronics/engineering, or an equivalent field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for high-tech systems are required, along with technical competence as a Field Service Engineer, preferably in Electron Microscopy. Excellent communication skills in English and the local language are necessary, alongside strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

The Field Service Supervisor will manage and develop assigned service teams, facilitating internal team communication and coordinating with the sales and service teams. They will handle customer critical communication, escalate issues, participate in customer meetings, and ensure health and safety protocols are followed. The role involves coordination of technical and non-technical training, support of the regional service manager, planning and preparation for installations, and taking on field service activities approximately 50% of the time. Additionally, the supervisor will challenge the status quo, seek opportunities for improvement, and possess negotiation skills and a commercial mindset.
