Candidates must possess English fluency, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is preferred. Experience in field service and instrumentation maintenance is beneficial, along with a strong understanding of technical troubleshooting and customer service skills.
The Field Service Engineer 1 will provide onsite technical assistance to customers, Field Applications Scientists, and Territory Account Managers, installing, upgrading, repairing, and maintaining Illumina hardware systems. They will also complete training and certifications, remain compliant with service manuals and bulletins, coordinate service requests, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain inventory levels of service parts.
