Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in field service or a related technical role. The ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance is required, along with the willingness to travel frequently, often on short notice.
The Field Service Engineer III will be responsible for performing on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex electron microscopy systems, including Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), and Small/Large Dual Beam (SDB/LDB) systems. This role involves conducting troubleshooting and repair support, providing training to customers and users, completing field service reports, and proactively seeking out additional learning opportunities to enhance technical expertise. Furthermore, the engineer will partner with colleagues to acquire technical guidance, provide feedback to product quality teams, and contribute to system documentation updates.
