Requirements

Candidates should have a visionary technical background with expertise in automation, low-code, and AI-first integration. Proven experience in executive customer engagement, strategic presales, and thought leadership is essential. Proficiency in AI development tools, prompt engineering, and customizing AI for enterprise use cases is required, along with a strong understanding of enterprise readiness, security, scale, SLAs, integrations, and extensibility. The ability to travel 50% of the time is expected.

Responsibilities

The Field CTO will serve as the strategic and technical face of Tray.io, driving platform adoption and customer success by working directly with prospects and customers. Responsibilities include inspiring confidence in senior decision-makers, validating architecture, security, scalability, and innovation in high-stakes sales conversations, and positioning Tray competitively in the market. This role involves building a reputation as a visionary, shaping the product roadmap through collaboration, partnering with sales teams, acting as an executive sponsor for lighthouse accounts, and leading industry conversations through representation at events and contributing to technical thought leadership. Additionally, the Field CTO will translate field insights into product vision, own the enterprise technical narrative, drive customer success and expansion, and track industry trends to advise the business.
