Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and basic blueprints
Strong understanding of electrical (AC/DC), mechanical, and pneumatic systems
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., work at heights, and in confined spaces
Proficient in basic carpentry, plumbing, and metal fabrication
Strong attention to detail, proactive, and efficient
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Effective in working independently with minimal direction
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, including Material Handling Equipment (MHE), conveyor systems, motors, sensors, and relays
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, including basic I/O functions and industrial controls
Maintain and repair dock equipment, forklifts, HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and fire suppression systems
Perform preventative maintenance on MHE, electric vehicles, pallet trucks, and other equipment
Conduct facility repairs (that could include welding, plumbing, racking, structural) and installations (cabling, office setups)
Maintain parts inventory and respond to maintenance requests
Ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and organization
Champion a facility utilizing 5S principles and ensure its integration into daily routines; while promoting a culture of organization and cleanliness throughout the facility
