The Opportunity

This position is based in Rio de Janeiro, within the Laboratory Diagnostics division. In the Laboratory Diagnostics area, we provide accurate and timely information so that you and your doctor can make the best decisions for your health at every stage of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are performed on Abbott's diagnostic equipment, providing laboratory results for millions of people.

As an Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to identify and prospect new clients by planning visits, defining approach strategies, identifying needs, and promoting the products and equipment of the Diagnostics Division.

What You Will Do

  • Develop commercial proposals and close deals based on client needs and Abbott's value proposition.
  • Commercialize Abbott products and equipment from the Diagnostics Division, providing product information and benefits, and meeting defined commercial goals. Position the concept of products in the diagnostic segment, keeping distributors and clients informed and updated.
  • Serve as the interface between clients and various company areas (finance, logistics, credit, tax, services, etc.) to assist and expedite internal procedures and meet client needs.
  • Identify and participate in in-person tenders for the acquisition of products in the diagnostic segment, requesting necessary documentation, following established negotiation parameters, and tracking the entire subsequent process until the company's winning announcement and order execution (commitment) in cases won by Abbott.
  • Monitor payments due to Abbott from clients in your portfolio, in conjunction with the Financial Management, following up on debtors. Track the commercial and financial results of your client portfolio, planning actions aimed at meeting established goals.
  • Keep your client portfolio updated and informed about order placement and administration processes. Identify client needs and potential, suggesting actions for special projects, logistical priorities, etc.
  • Prepare activity reports according to defined procedures and standards, involving sales planning, client information, portfolio performance, etc.
  • Keep Salesforce information up-to-date regarding accounts, opportunities, and client visit records, in accordance with company guidelines. Be prepared for weekly portfolio reviews with your manager (1-1).
  • Participate in training related to products and equipment commercialized by the Diagnostics Division.
  • Comply with policies and procedures related to your activity in accordance with the premises of the implemented quality systems.
  • Conduct actions and decisions under responsibility.
