7+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing engineering role, demonstrating expertise in engineering practices and processes
3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity, showcasing the ability to lead teams effectively and drive results
A proven track record of successfully delivering projects within a manufacturing environment, including equipment installation and construction
Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile and Six Sigma
Experience with processing equipment, throughput, and comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
Develop and implement project plans, investment required, timelines, and budgets
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and mitigate risks
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, bill of process, bill of equipment, safety, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful product launches
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Manufacturing Engineering, Strategic Suppliers, and Product Engineering
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain and meet project budgets/forecasts and drive cost reduction initiatives
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing engineering
