Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Biomedical, Bionic, Mechatronics, Health Sciences, or a related field. Advanced English proficiency is essential, along with strong analytical skills, a positive attitude for user support, good communication, ability to work under pressure, teamwork, full-time availability, commitment, and organization. While no prior experience is required, experience with medical devices (cardiology, hemodynamics), pacemakers, and a strong interest in the field are desirable.
The Technical Support Specialist for Cardiac Arrhythmias will provide technical assistance for CRM procedures, review and optimize parameters and algorithms for LV and HV devices, and offer clinical and technical advice to specialist physicians using Abbott's CRM LV and HV products. They will also communicate the IFU for devices, perform activities according to Abbott's quality values and policies, achieve Workday objectives, request materials from inventory or customer service, generate reports on CRM implants using Salesforce, handle administrative tasks including expense and activity reports, manage material reception and returns according to policies, and immediately report any known field events. The role also includes performing duties outlined in specific procedures, adhering to good documentation practices, and contributing to continuous improvement.
