As a 3Cloud Enterprise Sales Director, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business and expand opportunities within existing accounts in a designated region or territory. This role involves a blend of direct selling (hunting) and collaborative selling, leveraging and cultivating relationships within the Microsoft field sales ecosystem, particularly with Microsoft Account Executives. A proven track record in solution selling of cloud technology and services, along with the ability to build trusted relationships with C-level decision-makers and business partners, is essential. This is a territory-based, enterprise-focused sales role.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement geo- and industry-based market strategies for 3Cloud’s cloud practices and solution offerings.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key corporate C-level and Senior Leadership representatives through prospecting, marketing leads, and expanding existing contacts within accounts.
  • Understand clients' business and technical requirements to sell effective solutions that drive business value and offer a clear ROI.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted, and mutually beneficial relationships with Microsoft Account Executives, field sales teams, and the broader Microsoft community, including ancillary partnerships (e.g., Docker, etc.).
  • Understand the competitive landscape and 3Cloud’s differentiators to effectively compete in pursuits.
  • Act as a marketing liaison with clients, supporting 3Cloud reference requests, case study creation, and collateral approval.
  • Manage all phases of the sales cycle, including lead identification and qualification, scope construction, proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiation.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecast accuracy through discovery calls and meetings with clients and partners.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual bookings and margin targets.
  • Manage the contract process for new deals, including negotiating price and commercial terms.
  • Drive client awareness and business development across service lines, focusing on balanced business by cross-selling whitespace at existing clients.
  • Collaborate with technical delivery teams to develop compelling, tailored proposals that meet client needs while ensuring continuity of delivery opportunities across all 3Cloud practices.
  • Provide weekly updates in CRM and lead weekly pipeline review calls for your dedicated region and territory.
  • Serve as an internal advocate for clients at 3Cloud, briefing executives on needs and opportunities to inform staffing decisions.
  • Holistically understand an account’s current technology platform and assist in shaping plans for migration to cloud-based solutions, becoming the trusted cloud advisor for your assigned portfolio of accounts and region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. An MBA is a plus.
  • 5-10+ years of sales experience. Experience in complex sales, solution selling, and strategic account leadership is a plus.
