Your Role at Baxter

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will build trust and achieve results by representing Baxter and our products with confidence. Your deep understanding of our product portfolio and belief in their value to patients will be key. You will be the primary connection to healthcare professionals, serving as the face and leader of our solutions. You will enjoy being on location, building relationships, and establishing trust with doctors and nurses. You will also enjoy seeing the connections between teams and how they work together to drive business results, sharing insights and feedback with your team and cross-functional partners to validate and advise on priorities and changes.

Your Team

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead Portfolio Territory Managers and Nutrition Specialists, overseeing the tactical and operational daily activities of the sales team to exceed the Portfolio Sales Budget. You will be part of a friendly, collaborative team that pushes each other to improve daily. We find unique strategies to close deals and expand our skills by challenging ourselves and others. You will always have camaraderie and support to help accomplish your goals, whether in the field or tackling challenges with your territory team.

Region Coverage: Texas, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting Territory Managers with prospective customers, delivering effective sales presentations, and providing technical and administrative product information/demonstrations.
  • Quoting appropriate customer prices.
  • Driving the implementation of team strategies to achieve regionally focused objectives.
  • Planning, directing, and controlling sales and business activities for the region, translating strategic plans into sales strategies to meet sales volume, product mix, and profit objectives.
  • Preparing annual regional forecasts and participating in market potential determination and sales expense estimations.
  • Managing the region's sales and development efforts, including contract compliance, staffing, training, performance management, coaching plans, and administrative requirements (Boost, BaxU, QSOR, Tableau, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Collaborating with the IDN Team on major accounts within your region to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conferring with immediate superiors and marketing personnel on marketing policy, recommending product revisions, and pricing changes.
  • Partnering with sales support, marketing, and R&D on activities such as sales promotion, training, or market research for special projects.
  • Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing customer relations.

What You'll Bring
