Responsibilities

  • Shape and drive Aviva’s technology strategy across Aviva Investors
  • Lead the development of high-level technology roadmaps aligning with business needs and Aviva’s strategic vision
  • Ensure clarity around technology estate, cost of ownership, technical debt, and investment planning
  • Govern change across BAU and project initiatives, ensuring alignment with global architecture standards and policies
  • Champion standardisation and reuse of shared technologies to drive efficiency and reduce costs
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure solutions deliver the right architectural outcomes
  • Deputise for the Head of Architecture, providing continuity of strategic direction and governance
  • Play an active role in succession planning by developing future architectural leadership
