Candidates should possess 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a focus on acquiring new logos, along with experience developing regional account plans and validated experience in building new relationships that result in customer acquisition. A Bachelor's degree in a technical or business subject area is preferred, and experience in a startup software organization and understanding of the DevOps and/or Application Security industry would be beneficial.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will work closely with a team of Account Development reps to identify new sales opportunities and sell Sonatype’s suite of Nexus products, effectively communicating the company’s value proposition to increase sales and expand customer footprints. You will deliver lead generation to Fortune 1000 accounts through target account selling, outbound cold calling, and leveraging marketing-generated and inbound leads, managing the sales pipeline within Salesforce, collaborating with field marketing to deliver events, and working alongside ADRs and presales engineers to build pipeline and close business.
Manages and secures open-source software usage
