Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identifying and reaching out to potential clients using various methods, such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and inbound marketing leads
  • Product Demonstrations and Presentations: Conducting in-depth product demos to showcase the SaaS solution’s value to prospective clients, emphasizing how it addresses their specific needs
  • Consultative Selling: Engaging with prospects to understand their business challenges, providing tailored solutions that align with the SaaS platform's capabilities, and building a strong business case for adopting the product
  • Pipeline Management: Managing a sales pipeline through different stages of the sales process, tracking interactions, and moving deals towards closure using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Contract Negotiation and Closing: Working closely with decision-makers and procurement teams to negotiate contracts, address objections, and close deals, including navigating pricing discussions, legal, and procurement processes
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, sales goals, and customer needs, often collaborating with technical experts
  • Quota Achievement: Meeting or exceeding sales targets (quota) through disciplined time management, strategic planning, and continual focus on revenue generation
  • Market and Product Feedback: Gathering insights from prospects and customers about market trends and feedback on the SaaS product to provide back to the product development team for improvements or new features
  • Sales Reporting: Regularly updating sales performance reports
