Candidates must have extensive experience in consultative sales to Fortune 2000 companies, ideally in SaaS solutions, and a proven track record of selling into Vice President/Senior Vice President buyers. A history of overachieving sales quotas and targets, including multiple high six-figure annual contract value deals, is required. Demonstrated experience with sophisticated partner and internal team organizations, along with domain understanding in Supply Chain, FP&A, Workforce Planning, and Sales, is also necessary. Strong opportunity management practices, including sales process, qualification, and executive presentation skills, are essential.
The Enterprise Account Executive will drive growth and expand Anaplan's presence by hunting for new logo accounts and growing opportunities within existing customer bases. Responsibilities include engaging with prospects and clients to identify business process issues and position Anaplan's solutions, building business value throughout the selling engagement, and navigating complex prospect environments. The role involves conducting presentations to C-suite decision-makers, owning opportunity management from start to finish, applying value-based selling methodologies, and accurately forecasting business. Additionally, the Account Executive will identify account expansion opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling, perform strategic sales planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales Development Representatives, Marketing, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success.
