Position Overview

This is a strategic, quota-carrying role responsible for leading complex enterprise sales in North America. You’ll work closely with technical and business stakeholders to help industrial and digital-first enterprises modernize their data infrastructure with HiveMQ’s enterprise-grade MQTT platform. Who You Are

The ideal candidate for this job should have most of the following:

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally in IoT, data infrastructure, cloud, or integration platforms.
  • Proven track record of managing full-cycle sales and closing high-value, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals (6- and 7-figure).
  • Strong command of value-based selling frameworks such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
  • Experience selling to both technical (e.g., architects, engineers) and economic (e.g., VPs, CIOs) buyers.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

You Might Also Have:

  • Experience with MQTT, messaging platforms, edge computing, or event-driven architecture.
  • Deep understanding of industrial sectors (e.g., manufacturing, automotive, energy, healthcare) and their digital transformation challenges.
  • Background working with or through industrial systems integrators, automation firms, or hyperscaler cloud marketplaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to build internal champions and lead multithreaded, competitive sales pursuits.
  • Passion for emerging technologies and a desire to be at the forefront of the edge-to-cloud data revolution.
