Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector, and a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. Proven success in achieving sales targets and business growth, the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels, self-motivation, results-driven work ethic, and proficiency in CRM software are essential. Familiarity with cellular technologies and the IoT space is highly desirable. Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region is also required.
The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales and growth for IoT modules in the assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and managing the IoT modules business directly with end customers or through distribution partners. Responsibilities include collaborating with product management, marketing, operations, and field application engineering teams, providing market intelligence, managing demand forecasts, and documenting customer interactions and pipeline status in Salesforce.com.
