Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector. A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent relevant experience will be considered. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth is essential, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners at all organizational levels. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-driven, able to work independently, and proficient in CRM software and other sales tools. A working technical understanding of cellular technologies, nomenclature, and the landscape is highly desirable, as is experience within the IoT space. Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region is also required.
The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales and growth within the assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets for revenue, new design wins, and pipeline growth. They will develop and execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships up to senior levels, and foster relationships with channel partners. Responsibilities include collaborating with product line management, marketing, customer operations, and field application engineering teams to align sales efforts, provide market intelligence, ensure smooth supply/demand execution, and lead joint commercial and technical account engagement. The manager will also manage customer inquiries and escalations to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and maintain an accurate demand/revenue forecast using Salesforce.com.
