Candidates must possess at least 7 years of experience in sales and/or business development within the information technology sector, with a strong preference for SaaS selling experience. A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business or Computer Science/IT, is required. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial thinker with an aggressive, energetic, and self-starting attitude, demonstrating established skills in solution and relationship sales. Proven success in developing and maintaining strong prospect, partner, and customer relationships, including confidence in presenting to senior levels, is essential. Proficiency in a team selling approach, applying business acumen and financial expertise to identify and qualify opportunities, and experience with sales strategies such as discovery, deal qualification, negotiation, and closing are necessary. Prior experience and proficiency with Salesforce or other enterprise-level CRM systems are also required.
The Enterprise Account Executive will lead Appspace sales efforts within their assigned territory, focusing on acquiring new customers and growing business within existing accounts. This role involves acting as the go-to expert on Appspace, collaborating with strategic technology and channel partners to drive revenue growth through pipeline development and deal-winning activities. Responsibilities include building and executing innovative business plans with partners and the channel community to meet customer needs, presenting and demonstrating the Appspace platform, and engaging cross-functional resources to support sales. The AE will also grow and convert pipeline from various sources, establish reference customers, accurately forecast pipeline development, report on opportunities, and negotiate with peers, partners, and customers. Representing Appspace at partner meetings, trade shows, events, and conferences is also a key duty.
