As an Engineering Manager at Maze, the role involves leading and scaling cross-functional product engineering teams, driving delivery across complex product surfaces, establishing engineering practices, supporting and coaching engineers, partnering with Product and Design to shape product direction, and bringing calm, clarity, and structure to ambiguous challenges. The position also requires defining team structures, responsibilities, and growth paths, as well as bringing a thoughtful, people-first approach to performance, feedback, and development conversations, ultimately contributing to the scaling of Maze’s engineering organization.
