Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in biomedical/medical science, business, marketing or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing or Training with well-established global company, ideally in Medical device industry
  • Strategic planning and analytical skills – proven ability to identify business challenges and propose action plans
  • High-energy, self-starter who is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, exhibits a bias for action, demonstrates good executive presence, and has a high degree of commitment to meeting deadlines and objectives

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional and local education teams, including direct and dotted-line reports
  • Design and deliver physician education, fellow development, and technical training for employees
  • Build educational excellence through curriculum design, digital learning, centers of excellence, proctorship, and fellowship programs
  • Establish systems to measure education outcomes and continuously improve program effectiveness
  • Act as an ambassador for Abbott’s commitment to education in collaboration with professional societies and KOLs
  • Develop and implement sales training programs focused on CRM solutions, customer engagement, and value-based selling
  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify capability gaps and tailor training to improve field force performance
  • Integrate digital tools and analytics into training to enhance commercial effectiveness and agility
  • Select, develop, and retain a high-performing education team
  • Coach and mentor team members to build future leaders and drive engagement
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus
