Job Description: Client Services Associate

Position Overview

As a member of our client services team, you will be on the front line of support for Democratic campaigns, parties, PACs, and progressive organizations utilizing our tools. You will not only provide exceptional customer service but also conduct web-based training and onboard new customers. Our staff are expert practitioners who enable our clients to achieve their social missions. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about our clients and their causes.

Requirements

  • A demonstrated and passionate interest in Democratic and progressive politics and ideals.
  • Proficiency with technology.
  • Willingness to work with a diverse range of organizations.
  • At least two years of experience working with compliance, fundraising, and/or email tools for political campaigns, unions, or nonprofits.
  • Experience using NGP8, EveryAction, VAN, or VoteBuilder (or their competitors) in a day-to-day capacity, either administering users or in a leadership role within a campaign or organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and logical problem-solving abilities.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • Professional phone manner and exceptional patience.
  • Proven ability to self-motivate and a demonstrated work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills; ability to manage tasks effectively.

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience in teaching or training, including mentoring, tutoring, or software support.
  • Experience in customer relations or an equivalent field.
  • Experience using NGP Classic or NGP7 in a day-to-day capacity.

Compensation

  • US Base Salary Range: $49,000 - $58,000
  • The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
  • Compensation includes base pay, potential discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity, in addition to benefits.
