Position Overview

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Data Management Lead supports all aspects of configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting. This role works on problems of diverse scope and complexity, ranging from moderate to substantial. The Data Management Lead will support all aspects of configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting, working on problems of diverse scope and complexity.

The Data Management Lead will attend and become a citizen developer, collaborating with Contact Center and Billing and Enrollment leadership, and IT. This role will identify AI and RPA opportunities and follow through from exploration to implementation, building and maintaining attended and unattended BOTs, and validating benefits achieved from solution implementation. The Data Management Lead will advise operational leadership to develop functional strategies specific to billing and enrollment, supporting enterprise strategy, on matters of significance.

Key Accountabilities

  • 50% - Citizen Developer & RPA Implementation:
    • Attend and become a citizen developer.
    • Collaborate with Contact Center, Billing and Enrollment leadership, and IT.
    • Identify AI and RPA opportunities and manage them from exploration to implementation.
    • Build and maintain attended and unattended BOTs.
  • 25% - Data Analysis & Problem Resolution:
    • Implement self-directed activities to analyze, coordinate, process, and complete actions to correct multifaceted problems relating to eligibility, enrollment, billing, claims, referrals/authorizations, network operations, access to care, Defense Health Agency/TRICARE Health Plan policy, and other TRICARE topics.
  • 25% - Strategic Advising:
    • Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
    • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, working under minimal supervision.
    • Use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Requirements

  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required due to our Department of Defense Contract.
  • Security Clearance: Must successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Services).
  • Location Restriction: HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. Candidates currently living in Puerto Rico cannot be hired.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience:
    • 5 years of healthcare experience.
    • 2 or more years of project leadership experience.
    • Experience building and maintaining analytic data sets.
    • Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation.
    • 2 years of experience designing and writing SQL code from scratch.
    • Experience with large data sets and healthcare data.

Work at Home Requirements

  • Internet Speed: A minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended. Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection is suggested. Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may be used only if approved by leadership.
  • Internet Reimbursement: Associates who live and work from home in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Equipment: Humana will provide home or hybrid home/office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Workspace: Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Scheduled Weekly Hours

40 hours per week.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual qualifications.
