Proven experience in incident response, threat analysis, and security monitoring is necessary, along with demonstrated leadership skills to manage, coach, and inspire a technical team. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities are essential, as are excellent communication skills for engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include security certifications such as CISM or equivalent, and experience in cloud security and DLP integration across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
The DLP Team Lead will lead and mentor a high-performing DLP team, fostering skill development, collaboration, and operational excellence. This role involves designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing the client organization’s DLP strategy, policies, and controls. Responsibilities include collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to identify sensitive data, enforce protection measures, and mitigate risk exposure. The lead will also conduct data classification exercises, recommend mitigation strategies for potential data leaks, and ensure seamless integration of DLP tools and processes across on-premises and cloud environments. Driving continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and proactive threat intelligence, maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks, and providing actionable insights and regular reporting to senior management are also key duties.
