Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
Proficient in developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, with a strong focus on scalable and maintainable code
Demonstrated experience in insurance domain projects, including quotations, applications, claims, policies, and underwriting processes
Advanced expertise in AWS cloud services, covering deployment, management, automation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Glue, Aurora PostgreSQL, CloudFormation)
Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, including data modeling, complex queries, and performance optimization
In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipeline implementation
Proven ability to manage platform operations, ensuring independence, stability, and scalability across multiple environments
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strong emphasis on security, system performance, and long-term maintainability
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and integrate with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
Build responsive, user-friendly frontend applications with Angular for insurance portals and customer platforms
Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud solutions on AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Glue, Aurora Postgres, and CloudFormation
Lead platform engineering initiatives, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code using GEN AI capabilities, and monitoring
Oversee platform management across diverse environments, ensuring platform independence and seamless operation
Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations relevant to the insurance industry
Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor system performance for both front-end and backend components
Stay updated with the latest digital and cloud trends and incorporate best practices
