Responsibilities

  • Build across the full software stack — from front-end experiences to backend systems and data workflows
  • Design and implement secure, scalable backend integrations with partner and third-party platforms to support conversions and user engagement
  • Optimize insurance flows through organic/paid marketing funnels via ordering changes, micro-optimizations, and A/B testing for various insurance products
  • Lead development of high-impact insurance experiences, including organic SEO pages and user flows across multiple insurance products
  • Work hands-on with data ingestion pipelines and write performant SQL to verify instrumentation in observability platforms like DataDog
  • Use observability tools to proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues quickly
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to deliver measurable impact in the insurance vertical
  • Add monetization to pages lacking it and improve low-traffic pages to drive more traffic
  • Improve SEO page performance for site speed, accessibility, user engagement, and SERP rankings
  • Mentor engineers on the team
  • Drive engineering practices, continuous improvement, failing fast/repairing faster mentality
  • Partner with management to develop the engineering roadmap
