Candidates should possess a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, market dynamics, and competitive pricing models, with a proven track record of over 8 years in product marketing or related strategic roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in successfully launching and scaling technology products, a strong background in pricing research, financial modeling, and competitive analysis, ideally within the cloud infrastructure (IaaS) industry, are essential. Proficiency in business intelligence dashboard development, with a preference for Microsoft Power BI, and advanced SQL skills are also required, along with experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative market research.
The Director, Product Marketing will lead the development of go-to-market strategies for cloud infrastructure and managed platform services, from concept through launch and adoption. This role involves partnering with the executive team to define and execute pricing and packaging strategies, overseeing the creation of competitive positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions, and directing the development of sales enablement materials. Responsibilities also include defining, tracking, and measuring pricing performance, creating models and dashboards to predict the impact of pricing decisions, managing product and pricing information across marketing channels, leading promotional pricing strategies, delivering pricing and competitive analysis, and establishing product and pricing benchmark strategies. Additionally, the Director will mentor and develop a high-performing product marketing team.
