SmithRx is seeking a talented provider relations leader who will play a critical part of our overall supply chain strategy. This role will be the main point of contact for our retail pharmacy partners supporting all aspects of the PBM relationship including, but not limited to, pricing inquiries, contract compliance, audit, and contract implementation. This role will also be the internal liaison between supply chain and internal and external constituents with the expectation of attending meetings with supply chain partners to present business reviews.
To be successful in this role you will have a deep understanding of pharmacy reimbursement, pricing benchmarks, PBM client pricing, and the competitive landscape related to supply chain pricing. In this role, you will collaborate cross functionally to effectively promote, support, partner and deliver the SmithRx solution. In addition, you will work with the data team to create tools and reporting to assist the Supply Chain team in partner negotiations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and interest in commercial insurance (self-funded programs), relationships management, strategy, process development, leading presentations externally and internally and negotiation. This role reports directly to our SVP of Supply Chain.
