The Senior Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Management will develop and execute an overall supply chain management strategy and plan, including commercial targets. This role involves overseeing the procurement function to ensure all purchasing activities are safe, cost-effective, timely, and compliant. Responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring market trends, resolving vendor grievances, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The position also entails developing and managing the procurement budget, assessing and implementing best practices, developing performance metrics, identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, the role involves ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, developing procurement processes and procedures, conducting supplier reviews and audits, managing procurement data, overseeing procurement projects, hiring and developing a team, ensuring ethical practices, developing supplier diversity programs, and staying updated on industry trends. The role also includes working closely with the Treasurer and CFO on capital market transactions and supporting the CFO as needed.
