The Role

We’re looking for a sharp, scrappy, and versatile Director of Strategy & Business Operations to join our lean team. You’ll be a thought partner to the executive team, diving deep into data, building models, and helping drive cross-functional strategic initiatives from idea to execution. If you’re equal parts analytical and action-oriented, and you thrive in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain detailed financial and operational models to support decision-making
  • Conduct scenario analysis and distill insights for the executive team
  • Work with large data sets to uncover trends and opportunities
  • Translate data and strategy into clear, compelling narratives and presentations
  • Collaborate across Product, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to move critical initiatives forward
  • Structure and help execute cross-functional projects that impact growth and efficiency
  • Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous problems

What We’re Looking For

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in consulting, investing, BizOps, or strategy roles at a fast-paced company
  • Fluency in Excel/Sheets and comfort working with SQL or similar data tools
  • Strong communicator: able to tailor messages to execs, operators, and technical teams alike
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and turn rough ideas into structured plans
  • Collaborative by default — you get things done through influence, not hierarchy
  • A bias for action, comfort with “80/20,” and a strong sense of ownership

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in marketplaces, travel, or SaaS businesses
  • Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or board communications
