This role is for a Director of Revenue Operations responsible for establishing, scaling, and optimizing the company's revenue operations framework from the ground up. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to design and implement systems, processes, and policies that drive sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence. This position is ideal for candidates excited about creating a market category and thriving in ambiguous environments, with a preference for those who have built and executed go-to-market strategies as part of an early team in a software startup.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build a comprehensive revenue operations organization from scratch.
  • Develop and maintain CRM systems and processes to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Define and refine sales stages and pipeline management methodologies.
  • Create and implement sales team compensation structures aligned with company goals.
  • Establish discounting guidelines and build an effective deal desk structure.
  • Lead systems selection, implementation, and management for all revenue operations tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline lead management processes (PQL, MQL, SQL).
  • Develop reporting and analytics to provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Build scalable processes supporting both direct and indirect revenue/lead sources.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue operations roles, with a proven track record of building RevOps functions.
  • Experience establishing revenue operations in high-growth environments, preferably in technology or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms and the revenue operations technology stack.
  • Demonstrated success in designing sales compensation plans and deal desk structures.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing sales methodologies and pipeline stages.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, learning and iterating quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI/ML companies or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven sales effectiveness systems (e.g., Clay).
  • Track record of managing both product-led (PQL) and other lead sources.
