Candidates must have over 10 years of experience managing a complex Sales Operations function, preferably within a FinTech or modern payments sales environment. Relevant UK/EU market experience is required, along with outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills, including research, data analysis, hypothesis development, and executive-level recommendations. A proven track record in process design and documentation, experience managing large-scale projects, strong strategic thinking with execution capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail are essential. The ability to develop tactical initiatives to improve sales productivity and performance, and operate independently as a self-starter with minimal supervision, are also key requirements.
The Director, Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations will be responsible for defining and leading the GTM strategy and operations for the region, supporting sales planning efforts including quota setting, team structure, resourcing, and account assignments. This role involves leading annual planning activities, projecting revenue growth, and planning headcount. The individual will continuously optimize the sales funnel through data, systems, strategy, and process, including managing the sales pipeline and forecast. They will provide analytical thought leadership, create business insights, implement strategic operational priorities, and develop key performance metrics. Responsibilities also include supporting goal setting, tracking, and performance measurement, and serving as a cross-functional subject matter expert for decisions impacting business operations.
