Requirements

Candidates must possess over 10 years of experience in developing high-quality consumer-facing products and over 5 years of experience building and leading world-class Product Management teams. Exceptional people management skills, the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, a keen eye for design, expert communication skills, strong quantitative and analytical abilities, a detail-oriented and hands-on approach, and a passion for the outdoors are essential. Cross-functional teamwork, the ability to influence without authority, humility, empathy, and open-mindedness are also required.

Responsibilities

The Director of Product will build, coach, and grow a world-class product team, developing product strategy based on intuition, market research, customer feedback, and business needs in collaboration with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Product Marketing. They will act as a voice for users, define and evaluate success metrics, drive the product planning process, develop roadmaps, and ensure cross-functional and executive alignment. Responsibilities also include ensuring high-quality product delivery, improving the product development process, clarifying the product narrative, and communicating the vision, strategy, and roadmap for current and future products.
