Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting, Billings, or Collections, including at least 3 years in a people management role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billings operations, credit analysis, collections techniques, ERP systems (preferably Workday or similar), and MS Office (especially Excel) is required. Proven ability to design and optimize order-to-cash processes, experience with process automation and systems integration, and demonstrated leadership skills in managing high-performing teams are essential. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are also necessary.
The Director of Billings, Credit & Collections will oversee the billings, credit, and collections teams, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and fostering a high-performance culture. Responsibilities include driving process enhancements and automation projects, developing and implementing credit and collections policies, monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable status, and engaging with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve escalations. The role also involves preparing performance reports, supporting month-end close processes, and assisting with audits.
