Candidates must possess at least 10 years of experience in sales, partner, or channel operations within high-growth environments. A deep understanding of Systems Integrators, Independent Software Vendors, Cloud Partners, and Reseller businesses, along with their associated processes and tools, is critical. Experience in leading channel operations strategy across various partner routes to market, including Resale, Marketplace, Distributors, and Managed Service Providers, is expected.
The Director will lead channel operations strategy, build and manage a global team of Channel deal operations managers, and establish channel rules of engagement and playbooks. Responsibilities include defining channel-related CRM/PRM architecture, driving automation and tooling improvements for channel quote-to-cash, and designing/managing channel program mechanics such as deal registration and incentive tracking. The role also involves partnering with finance and sales strategy on attribution models, defining channel-specific forecasting and performance dashboards, supporting contracting and security requirements, and serving as the operational liaison for key channel partners.
