Candidates should possess at least 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or director-level role; they must demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a high-growth, fast-paced sales environment; and experience in building and scaling go-to-market strategies for multi-product offerings is required. Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, managing, and coaching high-performing sales teams are also necessary, along with comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Customer Success.
The Director of Fintech Sales & GTM will own end-to-end sales strategy and execution for all fintech products, including payments processing, payroll, and embedded finance; they will meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets; track and improve attach rates, conversion rates, and activation milestones; build, manage, and develop a high-performing fintech-focused sales team, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback; establish a scalable sales motion for both high-velocity and consultative selling; collaborate with product, marketing, and RevOps on GTM planning and execution; continuously refine messaging and value proposition based on market insights; own the entire sales funnel from lead to close; implement disciplined pipeline management and forecasting processes; partner with RevOps to build reporting tools and monitor funnel health; personally engage with strategic accounts to drive enterprise deals; gather and share field intelligence to inform product and GTM strategy; coordinate joint go-to-market efforts and account strategies; drive retention and upsell efforts through cross-functional alignment; develop sales playbooks, ROI calculators, and training resources; and analyze and report on sales performance, conversion metrics, and GTM efficiency.
