Requirements

Established government relations expert with 8-10 years of experience working on State-level policy issues
Experience in a relevant business or non-governmental organization, or in a political, governmental, or regulatory context
Direct policy/engagement experience in transportation/TNCs, education, or child welfare
Exceptional project management skills with proven ability to establish and grow impact initiatives and advisory councils
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
Ability to lead and prioritize competing goals and influence stakeholders
Supervisory experience with the ability to be a strategic leader and mentor a team

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive government affairs strategy
Oversee the Government Relations team
Develop, execute, and manage multi-faceted advocacy campaigns
Integrate internal company priorities into advocacy campaigns
Build and lead coalitions to advance company and policy needs
Draft and edit position papers, testimony, and comments
Drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment and pivot as needed
Supervise the management of external consultants
