Strategic and collaborative mindset to spearhead evolution of architecture and engineering practices
Experience leading and growing high-impact teams, including mentoring diverse enterprise architects skilled in enterprise applications, cloud, AI, data, security, platform & infrastructure engineering
Ability to build and maintain 3-5 year end-to-end enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals
Expertise in architecting practical, engineering-centric solutions (e.g., microservices, event-driven systems, containerization, API-first designs, AI-enabled platforms)
Skills in performing rigorous build vs. buy and open-source vs. vendor evaluations, balancing technical fit, TCO, risk, and maintainability
Knowledge to embed privacy and security (e.g., encryption, authentication, threat modeling, AI-enhanced defenses) in all designs for compliance
Capability to build, maintain, and leverage tech radar, architectural catalog, business capability maps for SaaS, custom apps, COTS, and enterprise applications
Ability to foster culture of experimentation, continuous learning, innovation, and AI capabilities development
Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to engineers, business leaders, and executives

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of enterprise architects to accelerate technology modernization and simplification
Build and maintain 3-5 year end-to-end enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap focused on modernization, simplification, scalability, cost optimization, cloud, AI, data hubs, APIs, and platforms
Architect practical, engineering-centric solutions to build connected, reusable, secure, and scalable ecosystems
Perform rigorous evaluation of build vs. buy and open-source vs. vendor options to optimize technology portfolios
Embed privacy and security throughout architectural designs, ensuring regulatory compliance
Build, maintain, and leverage comprehensive tech radar and architectural catalog to reduce duplication and technical debt
Foster culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and innovation to build and scale AI capabilities, platforms, tools, and talent
Communicate complex technical concepts to drive alignment, ownership, and decision-making across stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally with product management, domain engineering, data, AI/ML, infrastructure, security, and platform teams to align on multi-year roadmap and adoption
