Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in strategic operations, program management, or partnership roles—preferably in AI infrastructure, cloud services, or data center environments
  • Has led cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, legal, finance, and go-to-market teams, with direct accountability for external delivery
  • Has worked closely with external partners or customers in complex, high-value deployments—ideally involving SLAs, onboarding, or technical performance metrics
  • Is operationally rigorous, with strong instincts for tracking performance, surfacing risks early, and driving issues to resolution
  • Is highly collaborative and excels at aligning technical delivery with business objectives
  • Has exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills and can navigate conversations across senior stakeholders, technical teams, and partner organizations
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and driving clarity in high-stakes, fast-paced environments. Is resourceful, self-directed, and thrives in dynamic environments with shifting priorities and limited precedent
  • Willing to travel occasionally (up to 25%)
  • Operational Leadership – Able to manage complex programs involving multiple teams, deliverables, and timelines
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Skilled at aligning diverse teams around shared goals, especially Engineering, GTM, Finance, and Legal
  • Analytical Rigor – Comfortable with technical metrics and performance modeling (tokens/sec, capacity planning, service credits)
  • Execution-Oriented – Proactive, accountable, and able to drive clarity and outcomes in ambiguous environments
  • Partner Mindset – Builds trust with external stakeholders; anticipates needs and ensures delivery creates real-world value
  • Communication – Clear communicator across technical, commercial, and executive audiences

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships across Groq and Partners, ensuring alignment on objectives and coordinated execution across Engineering, Ops, Legal, Finance, and GTM
  • Deliver end-to-end oversight of the partnership—from capacity planning and deployment to steady-state operations and performance optimization
  • Track and report key metrics: installed capacity, usable capacity, token throughput, and theoretical vs practical capacity gaps
  • Meet or exceed throughput performance goals and ensure the infrastructure is available for use on schedule
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations post-deployment, with no disruptions to planned compute delivery
  • Coordinate responses to risks, service credits, or performance issues before they escalate
  • Partner with GTM to ensure compute delivery supports commercial readiness and customer activation timelines
  • Align operational capacity with field objectives and revenue targets
  • Ensure full adherence to SLAs, onboarding terms, and legal obligations (e.g. TCPs)
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks with internal teams and the partner
