Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Marketing/Communications
  • Minimum 5+ years working as a business analyst
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Experience with web/digital systems such as Google Analytics, CVENT and Marketo
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable technology solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in creating & maintaining technical documentation
  • Familiarity with software development, SQL and database concepts (plus)
  • Experience with project management and Agile methodologies (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the communications, IT and third party vendors to ensure that marketing technology solutions meet business requirements
  • Translate business requirements and manual processes into technical solutions and systems, and work closely with the IT team to implement them
  • Partner with Data Privacy and Security teams to ensure the systems are compliant with internal and external policies
  • Oversee contracts and payment processes related to marketing technology vendors, platforms, and service providers
  • Support the rest of the Communications and Creative teams in ensuring the system architecture is set up in a way that supports the technology needs of the team
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of the tool-set across the stack and provide insights to optimize their use
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to processes and procedures when working within the systems
  • Identify and manage system issues and work with the IT team to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in marketing technology systems and be prepared to share opinions on where gaps can be filled and processes can be improved
