Candidates must possess a minimum of 4 years of demonstrated sales experience or relevant technical/clinical experience, preferably in the medical, scientific, or healthcare industry. A minimum of an Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) with a science or business emphasis or equivalent experience is required. Demonstrated skills in selling capital equipment in physician and/or veterinary clinics, strong presentation skills including financial presentations, and the ability to transport, set-up, and demonstrate equipment quickly and effectively are essential. A valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and auto insurance are mandatory. Fluency in English is required.
The Diagnostics Solutions Consultant is responsible for selling Zoetis diagnostic instruments, tests, and associated products and services within an assigned territory, while building and maintaining customer relationships to maximize retention. This role involves achieving budgeted sales quotas, updating and maintaining sales funnel and customer profile data, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve goals. Responsibilities include developing a thorough understanding of diagnostic products and services, traveling to customer locations to demonstrate equipment and explain value propositions, securing purchase orders, and providing ongoing customer support. The consultant will also generate new business leads, support billing and collection efforts, and safely lift and move up to 60 lbs of equipment.
