Head of Demand Generation DACH (Fixed-term Contract)

Position Overview

Our Demand Generation team's core mission is to create pipeline for our revenue team. As the Head of Demand Generation for the DACH region, you will own pipeline creation for the DACH market to accelerate 360Learning’s growth. This is a temporary position to cover an extended leave for the current Head of DG (DACH) for over 10 months. We are seeking an ambitious individual to manage performance and ensure the DACH market meets its marketing and sales targets. This role offers a significant opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of a high-performance marketing organization and collaborate with talented individuals across the company.

Responsibilities

Within 1 month, you will:

  • Experience a comprehensive onboarding covering our team, culture, and product.
  • Collaborate with our EMEA Paid Marketing Manager to create your first marketing experiments on paid channels.
  • Upskill on managing our remarketing campaigns.

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Own the DACH Demand Gen budget.
  • Be accountable for achieving our DACH SQL (Sales Qualified Leads) targets.
  • Work closely with the EMEA Paid Media Manager on budget allocation across channels.
  • Define and execute your marketing experiment roadmap to monitor and improve all marketing touchpoints.
  • Partner with DACH BDRs to improve lead follow-up and increase the conversion rate of MQLs (Marketing Qualified Lead) to SQLs.
  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for the DACH Sales team.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Collaborate with the broader EMEA marketing team (EMEA Paid Media Manager, EMEA Event Manager, Product Marketing team, Brand team) to create more ambitious and complex campaigns.
  • Unlock new acquisition channels to scale demand generation in DACH.
  • Provide the Product Marketing team with business insights derived from campaign results, thereby building your knowledge of the L&D industry.

The Skill Set

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Demand Generation within B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of owning a budget and targets (SQL/opportunities/pipe) and interacting with a sales team.
  • Native German speaker or business fluent in German (minimum C2 level).
  • Fluent in English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of SEM (Google Ads) and Social Media Advertising (LinkedIn/Facebook Ads): ability to understand and challenge the Paid Marketing Manager.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Hubspot) and Salesforce.
  • Data-driven and performance-oriented: you start with numbers and are driven by results.
  • Attention to detail: ability to launch campaigns flawlessly and meticulously check for errors.
  • Analytical skills: adept at creating reports and methodically analyzing performance to identify bottlenecks.
  • Autonomy and Project Management: a proactive problem-solver capable of independently managing projects.
  • Strong written communication skills: ability to communicate in a structured and crystal-clear manner.
  • Experience with ABM campaigns is a plus.
