Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic account management, specifically within the animal health or pharmaceutical industry. Strong sales skills, financial acumen, and technical knowledge are required, along with the ability to develop and execute business plans and effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools, such as Excel, is also necessary.
The Dairy Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for developing and growing business partnerships with all business units of assigned customers, conducting “C Suite” interactions to deepen strategic partnerships, demonstrating the value of the Zoetis portfolio, and proactively seizing selling opportunities through solution selling. They will lead all aspects of the Strategic Account’s business plan execution, conduct quarterly business reviews, adjust strategies based on changing needs, and negotiate and manage contracts to optimize business results. Additionally, they will work with various Zoetis stakeholders to influence product positioning, manage resources, and support the account’s and Zoetis’ best interests, while ensuring effective use of CRM and analytics functionality.
