We are seeking an Account Manager to join our expanding team and enhance the experience of our customers: dentists across the nation. You will be the primary point of contact for new customers, transitioning them from the sales team. Your role will involve quickly building and managing a portfolio of over 100 accounts, specifically within our Multi Location segment, which serves parent accounts with multiple practice locations.

As the owner of your book of business, your main objective is to drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR). This will be achieved by proactively nurturing strong customer relationships, driving new user (doctor) growth, and expanding into new locations. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Training, and Customer Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and ultimately, retention.


Key Responsibilities

Book Management

  • Drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR) through strategic account planning and proactive customer engagement.
  • Analyze your book of business using data and customer feedback to develop effective customer engagement plans.
  • Leverage a blend of service and sales skills to manage the doctor experience during key moments in Dandy's customer journey.

Commercial Sales

  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your assigned book of business.
  • Drive the activation of more users/doctors within a practice.
  • Promote the sale of additional scanners within a practice.
  • Facilitate expansion by selling into additional practice locations.

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, enduring relationships with doctors at key accounts to build trust and loyalty.
  • Provide consultative solutions and negotiate commercial terms with doctors by understanding their goals and feedback.
  • Experiment with and implement churn reduction strategies.

Clinical Knowledge

  • Develop a deep understanding of dental practice operations and the competitive landscape of digital dentistry to effectively engage with doctors.
  • Communicate effectively in the language of clinicians to problem-solve and act as a trusted partner.

Continuous Improvement

  • Experiment with tactics, talk tracks, and use cases to continuously enhance customer retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Support and Training, to improve customer service.
  • Gather feedback and share learnings with the wider company to drive product enhancements.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in the dental industry, specifically in Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or a similar role directly interacting with dentists.
  • Proven track record of upselling and growing an account portfolio.
  • Experience establishing and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders in small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Enjoy engaging with clients via phone for over 60% of your workday.
  • A strong desire to understand customer pain points in depth.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and utilizing dashboards to inform decisions and outreach.
  • Enthusiasm for experimentation and iteration to refine your skills.
  • Highly motivated and performance-driven individual.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for Dandy offsites, industry events, and customer visits.
