Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in Customer Success, account management, or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships or projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, along with the ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with international customers and sales teams. Experience working with defence and intelligence customers across the EMEA region, excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive work style, and the ability to work independently are essential. The role requires the ability to multitask, prioritize job requirements, travel internationally, operate within a classified environment, and obtain/maintain NATO security clearance. Working proficiency in another European language, experience in earth observation, working with government customers, knowledge of geospatial technologies (GIS or Remote Sensing), experience as an intelligence professional or imagery analyst, and experience working with or in NATO are considered advantageous.
The Customer Success Manager will build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for customers in the EMEA Defence and Intelligence segment. They will assist customers in expanding their usage and adoption of Planet's products, manage onboarding and training for new clients, and co-own contract renewals with the sales team. The role involves providing excellent customer experience, ensuring successful service delivery, and producing timely solutions to meet customer needs and goals. Consistent communication with clients throughout the contract life-cycle, including escalating important issues, is expected. The Customer Success Manager will work closely with Sales Representatives and other internal teams, leveraging domain knowledge to be a trusted advisor to Defence & Intelligence customers.
High-resolution satellite imagery subscription service
