Position Overview
Centivo exists to provide affordable, high-quality healthcare to millions who struggle to pay their medical bills. As a Client Operations Business Intelligence Developer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client data within our internal systems and delivering this data to external stakeholders. You will own all reporting needs for Client Success, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client satisfaction, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational performance. This role leverages data analytics and other tools to identify areas for business improvement, scope initiatives, and lead them to successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Develop recurring reports, generate daily reports, and build ad-hoc reports as needed for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to create self-service reports for our market-facing teams based on their unique needs.
- Measure client performance and regularly report on trends, including areas of opportunity and progress towards goals.
- Develop action items for areas where the business is not meeting goals or agreed-upon SLAs.
- Effectively work with clients and operational partners to identify business needs and ensure implementations meet business requirements and address prioritized needs.
- Assist in creating Process Flows or Standard Operating Procedures for new initiatives or existing processes.
- Function as a liaison between business and technical resources to ensure people, processes, and solutions meet or exceed the needs of our Clients and Operational areas.
- Work with business partners to identify and articulate business requirements.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions to review solution options for business needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities and recommend system solutions to increase automation, resolve system deficiencies, and enhance claims processing and reporting.
- Participate in the assessment of new technologies, vendors, and system enhancements.
- Participate in internal and external meetings for plan design, strategy, and setup.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in building new reports and writing queries in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Proficiency in data analysis, including SQL, Excel, Tableau, Personify, and other commonly used reporting databases.
- Strong customer service skills and a client-first mindset.
- Advanced problem-solving skills demonstrated by researching and resolving operational issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently, problem-solve, and make decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple issues under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others to drive results across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other web-based software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex or technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and work well with others.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in reporting development, data analysis, or a business intelligence role within a healthcare organization.
