Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college in Computer Science, MIS, Education, or Engineering
  • Intimate knowledge of how the software and hardware operates and how customers use the products
  • Ability to solicit information from Engineers, Marketing, Technical Support, and Training Specialists
  • Willingness to travel and perform on-site customer training approximately 25% of the time
  • Ability to perform remote customer training and internal training
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain training materials including videos, E-Learning materials, training plans, student manuals, instructor presentations/guides, training checklists, job aids, and quick reference cards
  • Perform on-site and remote customer training (includes travel, setup time, and post-training documentation)
  • Conduct internal training and testing for new products or significant changes in existing products (presentation style or hands-on)
  • Document issues, successes, expenses, and follow-up actions after training
  • Communicate ideas, suggestions, and resolutions to issues between internal personnel, third-party vendors, and end users
  • Perform internal training and self-development
