Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience as a CRM Functional Consultant. A strong understanding of CRM systems like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics CRM, along with best practices, is essential. Experience in designing and configuring CRM modules for sales, marketing, and customer service is required, alongside excellent analytical and communication skills for stakeholder engagement. The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and CRM certifications are considered advantageous. Familiarity with higher education processes, sales, marketing, and customer service workflows, Agile/Scrum methodologies, UI/UX principles, and cloud/SaaS technologies is also beneficial. Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and various programming languages such as Apex, JavaScript, C#, Python, X++, and CRM-specific coding is necessary. Experience with data migration, cleansing, integration using APIs and middleware, and knowledge of data security regulations are also key requirements. Project management experience is expected.
The CRM Functional Consultant will collaborate with clients to understand their CRM needs and business objectives, assessing current processes and identifying improvement areas. They will design and configure CRM solutions for sales, marketing, and customer service functions, and facilitate workshops and training sessions for clients. Responsibilities include developing functional specifications, coordinating with technical teams, managing user acceptance testing, and providing post-implementation support. This role also involves diagnosing and resolving performance, integration, and data issues, managing CRM updates and feature rollouts, and utilizing CRM analytics and reporting tools to deliver insights. Strong collaboration, communication, adaptability, and stakeholder management are crucial for success in this role.
