Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field, with an MBA or CFA being a plus. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting, preferably in a high-growth setting, is required. Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets, including dynamic models and scenario analysis, is essential. A solid understanding of financial statements and their relation to operating metrics is necessary. Experience with management and executive-level reporting, including variance analysis, OpEx tracking, and dashboards, is expected. Familiarity with SaaS/technology business models and key SaaS metrics is important. Hands-on exposure to finance systems like ERP, planning software (Adaptive/Anaplan), or reporting tools is beneficial. Comfort with SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for analyzing large datasets is a plus. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication are crucial. Adaptability, proactivity, and comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment are necessary. Exposure to process automation or scaling reporting workflows is also a plus.
The Corporate Finance Analyst will support company-wide FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for Cost of Revenue, R&D, and G&A functions. They will partner with business leaders to track spend and offer insights on operational efficiency. Responsibilities include consolidating and validating headcount and OpEx planning inputs, building and maintaining OpEx and headcount reporting dashboards, and delivering monthly variance analysis reports with cost-control recommendations. The role involves supporting quarterly forecasting, developing automated processes, and owning recurring financial deliverables for senior finance leaders. Additionally, the analyst will produce scenario analyses, partner with cross-functional teams to track efficiency initiatives, lead improvements in forecasting accuracy and reporting toolkit scalability, and provide ad hoc strategic analysis for long-term planning and executive decisions.
